Moving forward, Members first

My philosophy in service to Tahoe Donner

Tahoe Donner is our neighborhood and we are neighbors
I treat Tahoe Donner with respect, care and attention. I value and honor the relationship we have with each other as neighbors bonded in Tahoe Donner.

Tahoe Donner is a Homeowners Association and we are all members
Tahoe Donner Association is 25,000 members strong with a $30 million budget and $115 million balance sheet. I apply experience, expertise, and grounded judgement in delivering for members.

With this philosophy, I ask for your vote to continue my
service to you on the Tahoe Donner Board of Directors.

My background
My wife, Denise, and I, have owned in Tahoe Donner since 2006, with our primary home in Roseville. Over the years, with our children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends, we have enjoyed nearly every amenity. As a current board member, I understand how our amenities are valued and used by members and the requirements for successful operations. I am well prepared to make decisions to ensure Tahoe Donner Association serves members now and into our future.

My professional career spans multiple industries and disciplines, including finance, operations, strategic planning, tactical execution, technology, and communications. My volunteer career includes service on many non-profit boards, including HOAs and other member organizations. In this experience I have learned to be prudent, diligent and empathetic in making decisions.

In addition to the Tahoe Donner Board of Directors, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Community Associations Institute, Northern California, connecting with HOA managers and homeowner leaders, keeping abreast of best practices and shared experiences, as well as advocating on legislative issues impacting our community.

Moving Forward
My motto: “The best way to predict the future is to create it!” I am alert to changing conditions and emerging opportunities, creative in solutions, and highly focused on being well prepared.

Delivering results
During my time on the Board, we have rebuilt the Pavilion at The Lodge, renovated the Beach Club Marina, and reconstructed the Downhill Ski Lodge. Tahoe Donner has become the model for forest management and fire hardening to protect property and environs. We have expanded our extensive outdoor recreational opportunities. We have modernized our financial policies for responsible, well planned, and stable management of our finances. Our amenity access system has been overhauled to ensure members-first access and enjoyment.

With your vote, I will responsibly build on these accomplishments
